Wonderful Wyoming, Part 1

At least, northwestern Wyoming is wonderful. I can't really vouch for the state beyond that. Except for the southwest. And here's what's noteworthy about the southwest:

Nothing.

On our way to Wyoming, we drove through a whole lot of NOTHING in Colorado and southern Wyoming before crossing back into our beloved Utah (I mentioned the other day that our rendezvous with Utah had come to an end - I was mistaken) and it greeted us in its usual way, with awesomeness:

Bear Lake, pictures do it no justice.

In our book, Utah wins against Arizona and Colorado (since it's a competition and all). I have a feeling we'll reunite with it again someday (but not on this trip - I double checked this time.)

But back to Wyoming. We headed to the Grand Tetons National Park and had a lovely drive through Jackson, WY. When we approached the Tetons I was looking the other way out of my window at a pretty, albeit average, view. Then, I looked over at Jimmy, and I saw them outside his window:

I SCREAMED at them! (and consequently at Jimmy since they were in his direction.) They caught me completely off guard. I also screamed at Jimmy when I first saw Niagara Falls, and he was driving that time too. I think I am officially a liability to myself and others when I first glance breathtaking views.

Jarvis, soaking up the view.
The look of the Tetons was more along the lines of what we were expecting in Colorado. I guess our latitudinal expectations were a little off target. I think the Tetons refreshed us both. Though I imagine they have that effect on everyone.
